The EN 1627 standard is the European reference standard for burglar-proof doors and windows. It classifies doors according to their level of resistance to break-in, according to the duration and the means burglars use to force the door.

| Résistance à l'effraction | Durée de résistance | Outillage utilisé |
|---|---|---|
| CR3 | 5 à 10 min | Hand tools |
| CR4 | 10 à 15 min | Outils manuels et perceuse sans fil |
| CR5 | 15 à 20 min | Outils manuels et électroportatifs 230 V |

Baumert is able to provide you with a class CR3 to CR6 burglar-proof door, but above all to add fireproof, bulletproof or even anti-explosion performances to it according to your needs.
In addition, all doors designed, developed and qualified by Baumert are earthquake resistant and maintain their integrity after a seismic event.
Learn more about our performances and qualificationsBulletproof doors play a crucial role in protecting people and property from ballistic threats. They are used in a variety of environments, such as government buildings, defense infrastructures, banks, embassies, and even some private homes. To ensure their effectiveness, these doors must meet strict bullet resistance standards. Here is an overview of the main standards and associated performance criteria.
The bulletproof classification of building elements and more particularly of door units is governed by the EN 1522-1523 standard. This standard covers both the conditions of testing and the resistance to a bullet attack.
